(The ship that took me to the Pacific Islands in 2012. More from this trip on my Flickr Account)
Before letting you know of my New Year's resolutions, I thought I'd first give you a 2012 wrap-up. After all, it was a year that I shared very little on this blog... But lived fully, as always!
Before letting you know of my New Year's resolutions, I thought I'd first give you a 2012 wrap-up. After all, it was a year that I shared very little on this blog... But lived fully, as always!
I traveled to new places (New Caledonia,
Vanuatu, Batemans Bay, Barrington Tops...) and revisited some others
(Newcastle, Snowy Mountains, Jervis Bay...). I went on my first
cruise where I had so much fun with great companies and fell in love with every Pacific
Island I put my feet on.
I went to
nice concerts (Donavon Frankenreiter, Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper, Lana Del Rey, Lady
Gaga, O Rappa ans others...) and to my 5th Soundwave Festival (System of a Down,
Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Marylin Manson, The Used, Dashboard Confessional
and more...).
I read nice books, watched
great movies, discovered new music. I was introduced to new series (two
thumbs up for Game of Thrones & Breaking Bad, and for my awesome
brother who not only showed them to me but also was the best company
watching it all!).
I participated
in some interesting courses and seminars. I also completed 2 years on a job I
love gaining new skills and responsibilities.
I had a well enjoyed 3-months vacation in
Brazil in the unparalleled company of my family and friends. I
also overcame a few obstacles with much appreciated support from the
people I know will be always there for me.
And
last, but not least, I celebrated 5 years of a very happy marriage.
It was a lot to accomplish in a single year,
and I am really grateful for all that. I'm sure 2013 will be filled with as many opportunities, and it's only up to us to see and go get them.
A good way to achieve more is
making a list of what we want for the upcoming year. And I read
somewhere that it's a good idea to let others know so we don't forget or give up. Makes sense...
So next I'll be bothering you with a list of my New Year's resolutions for 2013! Tcharaaaan... :)

Really beautiful!
